Will the wedding be indoors?

Yes, the duration of the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What time is the wedding?

We're still working out the specifics, but you can tentatively expect the ceremony to begin between 4PM and 5PM, and for the wedding to conclude around 10PM.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal. We're excited to dress up and act fancy with everyone! Think along the lines of

• A button down shirt with dress pants
  (tie and suit jacket optional but encouraged)
• Dressy separates or a pantsuit
• A gown or cocktail dress of any length

What airport should I fly into?

The nearest airport is the Hartford-Brainard Airport in Connecticut. It is a 45 minute drive (or 1.5 hour train ride) away from the venue. Boston is a 2 hour drive away. There is also a 4 hour train from Boston to the venue that connects in Hartford, or a direct 4 hour train from New York City.

Will snow be a problem?

Northampton is accessible via major highways, and New England tends to be well prepared when snow does arrive. We'll be keeping an eye on the weather and will keep you informed in the case of any major storms.

Is there anything to do in Northampton or should I stay in Hartford/Boston/NYC?

Northampton is a load of fun to stay in! The downtown is walkable with a bustling art scene, tons of vintage shopping, and more than enough dining/drinking options to keep you busy. We think you'll have a great time!

Do you have a registry?

Yes, although we consider your presence to be present enough. Please do not feel obligated to purchase anything! The registry is here for those interested.

Is this wedding really at a train station?

The building was once a historic train station and is now a reception hall. There is still an active train station next to the parking lot of the venue.

Will there be parking?

There is a parking lot with abundant free parking at the venue. If you need to leave your car overnight, you can pick up parking validation from the bar before going home.

Is there a hotel block?

Yes! We have a hotel block at the Hotel Northampton and a block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites.

• Hotel Northampton ($170/night)

  You can book a room by calling 413-584-3100 and asking for the Charlotte & Nick Wedding Block. The price is $170/night + tax for 1-Queen Bed room or a 2-Double Bed room. This hotel is central to downtown and is a 0.3 mile walk to the venue.

• The Fairfield Inn by Marriott ($160/night)

  You can book a room with this link. The price is $160/night + tax for a 1-King Bed room, or $170/night + tax for a 2-Queen Bed room, and both rooms come with free breakfast. This hotel is a 0.5 mile walk to the venue and a 0.6 mile walk to Downtown Northampton.
